Graduating medical radiography students received their Associate of Science in Medical Radiography degree at Commencement exercises held at Regis College on May 14, 2006.

Full Accreditation Received by Medical Radiography Program

The new Lawrence Memorial/Regis College Medical Radiography Program, which first opened its doors and entered its inaugural class in August 2004, received full, initial three-year accreditation from the Joint Review Committee on Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).  JRCERT is the US Department of Education's nationally recognized accrediting agency for the accreditation of educational programs for the radiographer and radiation therapist, and is responsible for all accreditation actions.

The Program was visited by JRCERT in late Fall 2005 after the submission of documentation regarding the Program’s compliance with JRCERT standards. The initial accreditation status of the Program was considered at the April, 2006 meeting of the JRCERT, and the Lawrence Memorial/Regis College Medical Radiography Program received the maximum duration that may be awarded, three years.
